So. We got there Sunday afternoon, around 3:00pm.We checked in and then they directed us to the concierge (our personal concierge Nidia) who gave us info on tours and such. Then she directed us to the "honeymooners desk" where they gave us info on what we got because we're honeymooning there.
Then we finally got to go to our room and relaxed for a little bit, checked out the mini bar, tasted some wine (ew!), unpacked a little (this is where we discovered that I had forgotten our swim suites) etc. Then we just wondered around the resort for awhile, tried some of the food (they had 3 main restaurants: the sweet and coffe which was pastries and desserts and breakfast stuff and coffee, the brazilian restaurant which was like rodizios but much less of a selection, and the buffet which had EVERYTHING. Chase had steak every night haha!), went and scheduled some tours and later we went to dinner and then to bed!
